A Russell Jeffrey Design card isn't something you throw away. It's something you keep on a shelf, tuck into a drawer, or frame on a wall. Making something that meaningful doesn't happen by accident — it happens because of who's behind it.
When our dad designed a custom invitation for our sister's Bat Mitzvah, something clicked. The response was overwhelming — friends, family, and community members wanted invitations of their own. For years, Russell Jeffrey Design was a beloved custom stationery studio, creating one-of-a-kind Bar and Bat Mitzvah invitations and wedding stationery for families across the community.
Over time, that passion for design and craftsmanship found a new expression — handmade greeting cards that feel less like stationery and more like keepsakes.
How our cards are made
Every Russell Jeffrey Design card begins with her sketchbook. As the creative heart of the business, she dreams up each design concept — inspired by meaningful occasions, timeless motifs, and the moments that deserve to be celebrated beautifully. Her husband then takes those ideas and transforms them into polished digital artwork, printing and cutting every card himself in their Canadian home on premium heavyweight cardstock.
Then it's back to her. Using tweezers, she places each crystal gem embellishment one by one — pressing each piece down by hand until the card catches the light just right. It's meticulous, unhurried work, and it shows.
Every card is finished with a crisp white envelope and packaged in a protective sleeve, arriving at your door — or on a boutique shelf — ready to make someone feel truly special.
This is a husband-and-wife team. Parents of two daughters. A self-taught designer and a natural-born artist who found each other and found their calling. Everything we make is a labour of love, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
What we make
Our collection spans birthdays, weddings, holidays, and everyday celebrations — alongside one of the most distinctive Judaica greeting card collections you'll find anywhere. Hand-embellished with crystal gems and designed with genuine reverence for Jewish holidays and milestones, our Judaica line was a natural extension of who we are and where we come from. From Rosh Hashana to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Passover to Chanukah — these are cards worth keeping.
