Last updated: October 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Russell Jeffrey Design (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit russelljeffreydesign.com, place an order or contact us.

Information we collect

  • Order and contact information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, items ordered, payment and transaction information, and any order notes you provide. Payments are processed through our checkout and payment providers.
  • Gift-recipient information: the recipient’s name and delivery address, and any message you ask us to write in a card, when you use our send-direct service. Please only provide another person’s information when you are authorized to do so.
  • Customer-support information: your contact details, order information and the messages or attachments you send when asking for help.
  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages and products viewed, referral information and interactions with our website. This information is collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: subscription details and your choices about receiving marketing messages.

How we use information

We use personal information to process payments, prepare and deliver orders, provide requested card messages, communicate about purchases, respond to enquiries, maintain the website, understand store performance, help detect fraud and comply with legal obligations. We also use information for marketing and advertising, subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. We may still send necessary messages about an order or a request you have made.

Who we share information with

We share information with service providers that help us operate the store, process payments, deliver purchases, provide customer support, manage sales channels, send communications and measure or market our business. The information involved depends on the service and your interaction with us.

  • Shopify: our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information when you browse and make purchases. Depending on the Shopify services used and store settings, Shopify may also process information from interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide and improve its services. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Privacy Portal.
  • Analytics and marketing providers: our site includes measurement and marketing integrations, including Google and Meta tools. These technologies can receive information about devices, website activity, purchases and advertising interactions. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to a lawful request, to protect our rights or prevent fraud, or when you direct us to do so.

Cookies, advertising and your choices

Cookies and similar technologies support the shopping cart, checkout, account access, preferences, analytics and marketing. Some information shared through advertising technologies may be treated as a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws; these terms can include disclosures that do not involve payment for information.

Where displayed, use the website’s cookie or privacy controls to manage your choices. You can also adjust cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect checkout and other features. To request an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or its use for targeted advertising, email rjgraph@rogers.com with the subject “Privacy request”.

You can manage preferences directly with Google My Ad Center and Meta Ad Preferences. For Shopify’s processing, visit Shopify’s Privacy Portal. Choices may need to be applied separately to different devices, browsers or accounts.

Retention and international processing

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining necessary business records and meeting legal obligations. A deletion request may be subject to recordkeeping requirements or other exceptions under applicable law.

Shopify and other service providers may process information outside your province or country, including in Canada and the United States. Information processed abroad may be subject to the laws of that location.

Automated tools

Our checkout and service providers use automated tools, including tools that help screen transactions for potential fraud. If you have a concern about an order or processing involving your personal information, contact us so we can review your request and explain the next steps.

Children’s information

We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us to request a review and deletion where appropriate.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, receive a copy of or request deletion of your personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; or opt out of the sale or sharing of information and targeted advertising. Where applicable, these include rights available to residents of Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and certain US states.

To make a request, contact our privacy contact below. We may need information to verify your identity and understand your request. If you use an authorized agent, we may need to verify their authority. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and explain any relevant limits. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

If European or UK data-protection law applies, the basis for processing depends on its purpose: fulfilling an order or other contract, your consent, meeting legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating and securing our business where permitted. Contact us with questions about the basis for a particular use of your information.

If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the privacy regulator responsible for your location. In Canada, information about raising a concern is available from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
